In 1951-52 Bob Gray was a student conductor and a member of the Union City High School's first marching band. He wrote The March of the Greyhounds that you are currently listening. Bob went on to earn a Ph.D. and direct several high school bands in Missouri and Arkansas in the next 40 plus years. He died in 2009 at the age of 76. This page and music is a tribute to him..
